The information of resuming business and safety precautions.

SHIROUMA-SO will be resuming business from July 1st. In an effort to minimize the risks regarding COVID-19, we are undertaking following safety precautions.

- Staff will wear face masks and gloves.
- We request guests use the hand sanitizers placed in the foyer and communal spaces.
- We request guests wear face masks in communal areas (excluding dining and using onsen).
- Observation of ‘cough etiquette.’
- Temperature check upon arrival (we ask that guests with a body temperature above 37.5℃ refrain from visiting)
- We request that guests sign a written consent to undertake safety measures against the spread of COVID-19.
- Suspension of futon rolling-out service.
- Simplified room-cleaning service for guests staying multiple nights.
- We request guests stagger onsen usage times in an effort to avoid crowding.
- Sanitizer is provided for baskets in onsen change-room after use.
- Suspension of use of communal hair-dryers and lotions in wash-rooms.
- Regular ventilation of the dining area and staggered dining times to avoid crowding.
- Staff will reduce interactions with guests and refrain from speaking in a loud voice. We request guests’ cooperation in this too.
- If a guest has a cough, headache or is feeling unwell we ask that they observe self-isolation or take other appropriate measures.
- Other measures as the need arises.
